Christmas parties for the Montessori, Primary and secondary sections were held at the end of the term in December 2024. The Montessori Christmas party was held within the school premises. The kids were entertained with a number of party games, Santa’s arrival and delicious Christmas treats. The Christmas party for the Primary and secondary sections were held at the Dampe Village hotel, Piliyandala. Apart from the party games, magic shows and scrumptious dinner buffet, the students were enthralled by the live DJ music, guitar music performed by the school guitar club and the spacious dancing floor. Brisbane International School celebrated the Sinhala and Hindu New Year
The students of Brisbane International School celebrated the Sinhala and Hindu New Year at the Secondary School premises at No. 11, Pepiliyana Mawatha, Kohuwela, this week. Here, the event is seen in full swing, featuring musical chairs, kotta pora, breaking pots, sack race and the teacher's race.

In our 25th year we relocated the secondary school section of BIS to a new venue at No. 11, Pepiliyana Mawatha, Kohuwala. Students are seen here in attendance at assembly. The students, management and staff also conducted an opening ceremony at the premises. The new location has open spacious green gardens and free-form classrooms to encourage students to think, create, and learn in tune with nature.
